As each stream of wood falls off, the form of each precious bowl is taking shape. Each bowl is a one of a kind; no two are alike and all have a spirit uniquely their own. The woods I use range from heart pine, which is a rich orange chocolate color, to Box Elder, whose vibrant red rings look somewhat surreal. Sizes of the bowls vary as the majority of the wood I use is native to the South and comes from trees that are downed by weather or left behind by logging crews. Each time I begin a bowl, I do not know what shape will progress because each piece of wood is so precious and each has its own personality. This is truly a passion I have found in my life. It is a spiritual and liberating experience to create each bowl. Each is a work of art with unlimited asthetic value. Please experience my joy and passion for wood and art and purchase one of these rare treasures.

With great passion, Pat
